TV chef and entrepreneur Alfons Schuhbeck loses his broadcasts on Bayerischer Rundfunk.

After yesterday’s partial confession to the Munich district court, star chef Alfons Schuhbeck (73) will lose his shows on BR television until further notice. This was confirmed by the broadcaster of the news agency spot on news. The news portal “t-online” was the first to report on the reaction of Bavarian radio. “Due to current events, BR Fernsehen is taking the cooking programs with Alfons Schuhbeck out of the program for the time being,” said the public broadcaster.

According to this, five episodes of “Alfons & Ali – Genuss hoch drei”, which should be broadcast every Sunday at 5:15 p.m. from October 16, will not be shown, nor will new episodes of “Schuhbecks Küchenkabarett”, which were scheduled from November 20. “There are currently no further recordings or broadcasts planned,” said the spokeswoman for spot on news. Instead of the Schuhbeck broadcasts, BR will repeat several episodes from the cooking series “Simple. Good. Bachmeier”.

Alfons Schuhbeck admitted yesterday that he had withdrawn money from the cash register

Yesterday, Wednesday morning, 73-year-old Schuhbeck declared before the Munich I Regional Court that he had manipulated sales in one of his restaurants and taken money from the tills. If convicted, he faces a prison sentence.

Schuhbeck is one of Germany’s best-known chefs. Among other things, he runs three restaurants, an ice cream parlor, spice shops and a catering service in the heart of Munich.
