Alfred Biolek (1934-2021) died at the age of 87. On the occasion of the death of the presenter and talk master, who was often just affectionately called “Bio”, WDR television changed its program on July 24th.

On Saturday, starting at 9.45 p.m., the station will first show the 90-minute portrait film “Mensch, Bio!” broadcast via the TV legend. Sandra Maischberger (54) and Hendrik Fritzler accompanied Biolek with the camera for two years. The film shows surprising insights into the private life of the presenter, who became a star through programs such as “Boulevard Bio”.

At 11:15 pm the film “Bahnhof für Bio” follows, in which Biolek reminisces together with Anke Engelke (55) and Hape Kerkeling (56). From 12:55 am there will be three editions of the cooking show “alfredissimo!”, In which Helmut Berger (77), Alice Schwarzer (78) and Harald Schmidt (63) are guests.
