Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo, release date and Limited Edition for console versions

Already available since the end of last year on PC, where it records “very positive” evaluations on Steam, Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo is still waiting on consoles. Fortunately, Microids and Pendulum Studios today give an update on their adventure game inspired by the film Cold sweat.

Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo release date set for September 27, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The title will be available on the online stores of the consoles, but also at the retailers in standard version and in Limited edition. The latter will include the game, a art book official in physical and digital format as well as the original soundtrack composed by Juan Miguel Martín Muñoz, download only. If you don’t know the game developed by the creators of Runaway and Yesterdayhere are some key points:

  • An untold story loosely adapted from Alfred Hitchcock’s masterpiece, Vertigo (Cold Sweats), centering on themes of obsession, memories, manipulation and madness;
  • Live an intense narrative experience, which pays homage to the visual and narrative techniques of the master of the genre;
  • Investigate through the vision of three characters, each with a different story to tell;
  • Explore events through flashbacks and differentiate between reality and misleading memories.
