End clap for the ALGS: 2022 Split 2 Pro League, EMEA region. Russian teams finish first: Team Empire ahead of the (renamed) Gambit roster. Make way for the last chances for the playoffs.

This week ended the regular meetings of the 2022 Split 2 season in the Apex Legends Global Series EMEA Pro League. 40 teams competed in each region for a place in the playoffs. Due to the conflict in Ukraine, EA announced the withdrawal of Russia and Belarus from all esports competitions organized by the studio. Nevertheless, to the distribution of points, it was the Russian structure of Team Empire that won the regular season and collects the $30,000 from the $125,000 prize pool.

In second place we find Playersthe new name of the Russian roster Gambit Esports. Good season too Esports Totem, the French finishing in 6th place overall. Less well for the other French representatives, like Solaris or Nemesis, and especially AllPlanened, disqualified.

If the first 10 teams have qualified for the playoffs in Stockholm on April 29, including K1CK and Acend, the others will have to go through a Last Chance to obtain the last places. In the other regions, we can note the qualification of 100T, CLG or G2 in NAwith an Esports Arena victory.
