Alibi.com on TF1: a nod to AlloCiné is hidden in Philippe Lacheau’s film

While “Alibi.com” is broadcast tonight on TF1, did you know that the name of the character played by Julien Arruti in the film was a small tribute to AlloCiné?

Returning to the cinema in Superheroes despite him since Wednesday, Philippe Lacheau, Tarek Boudali and Julien Arruti, main members of La Bande à Fifi, are also showing the comedy Alibi.com, broadcast this evening on TF1.

This feature film, which follows the adventures of three young entrepreneurs responsible for resolving the embarrassing situations of their customers and finding them the best excuses in the world, contains a little insider’s nod to the AlloCiné database. Indeed, know it, if the character of Julien Arruti is called Augustin in the film, it is a little because of us.

To understand, we have to go back to 2010. That year, L’Arnacoeur, a comedy by Pascal Chaumeil, was released in theaters, and the members of La Bande à Fifi were invited to take their first steps on the big screen alongside by Romain Duris and Vanessa Paradis.

As Julien Arruti reported on Twitter, once the film was released, the three actors rushed to check the film’s file on AlloCiné to read their names. Between Philippe Lacheau and Tarek Boudali, Julien Arruti was surprised to see a certain “Augustin Barrutia” appear.

An error that the actor cannot explain (and besides, neither do we!), but which seems to have made the trio laugh a lot. To the point of taking up the first name Augustin and attributing it to the character of Arruti in Alibi.com !

We would therefore like to apologize to Julien Arruti for this nickname which probably followed him long enough, but also to Augustin Barrutia (if he ever exists) for having involved him in all this without him asked absolutely nothing.
