Not the most popular of cooperative shooters, Aliens: Fireteam Elite still continues to welcome additional contentwith last month the Season 4, Prestige. But Cold Iron Studios, Focus Entertainment and 20th Century Games have been preparing a real extension for a while, which arrives today.
Players can now experience Pathogenan extension that notably adds a campaign with the Black Liquida pathogenic agent which acts on fauna and flora, and therefore on Xenomorphswhich become even tougher and attack anything that moves, even other Xenomorphs uninfected. The trailer shows what awaits players, including a boss fight against the Xenomorph Queen. In addition to this, we will find new cosmetics, weapons and accessories, as well as the mode Hardcore with permanent death. This is what the extension includes Pathogen :
- The brand new campaign consisting of 3 new missions with new enemies and the boss fight against the Queen;
- 8 new weapons, 2 for each type;
- 1 new bonus for each class kit, allowing to modify the main ability of the player;
- 13 new weapon attachments that change stats and grant special abilities;
- 2 new outfits and 6 head accessories;
- 21 new weapon paints and 10 weapon stickers;
- 10 new emotes.
The studios take advantage of the release of this extension to launch a Ultimate Edition of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, bringing together the game, the Pathogen DLC and five cosmetics from theEndeavor Pass.
