Acidosis (acidosis) can occur if the natural acid-base balance of the body is out of whack. As a result, headaches, sleep disorders and joint pain can occur, for example. To prevent these symptoms, an alkaline fasting for a few days is a good idea.

Alkaline recipes: which foods are allowed?

Basic foods are among others fruit and vegetables (with a few exceptions, see below), Nuts, sprouts, kernels and seeds as well as herbs. It is almost impossible to eat a completely alkaline diet, but ideally the menu should consist of 70 to 80 percent alkaline and 20 to 30 percent acid-forming ingredients. It is also important to drink at least two and a half liters of water or unsweetened herbal or fruit tea every day.

Basic recipes: what should be avoided?

Animal foods (i.e. meat, fish, dairy products and eggs) are acidic and therefore taboo, as are white flour products, sugar and alcohol.
