(Boursier.com) — Alkira, a pioneer in cloud-based network management, opened a headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, this week to lead an international expansion project in the EMEA region. Alkira continues to recruit teams in the UK, Germany, France, Benelux, Scandinavia and Spain, while actively forging new distribution partnerships.
The campaign is led by Senior Vice President International Paul Couturier, who has previously introduced innovative start-ups to Europe and led their international development agenda. Paul Couturier was previously in charge of international growth at TippingPoint, Efficient Networks, Cyan, LightCyber and Palo Alto Networks.

Paul Couturier explains, “Reseller relationships are key. Alkira sells cloud networking as a service. We help customers build a cloud-based enterprise network that unifies their clouds, sites, and users. This raises a lot of questions for them, and they expect a consulting relationship. We look forward to expanding Alkira’s channel partner network.”
