All about the new Warzone addition, weapon swaps

Warzone Season 2 Reloaded shakes up the fundamentals that battle royale fans have grown accustomed to. Indeed the game introduced the weapon exchange stations on Rebirth Reinforced. Here’s everything you need to know about this new mechanic.

With the Mid-Season Update scheduled for March 23, players will be able to get their hands on a lot of new content.

From a new wave of quality of life improvements to a new Rebirth experience, a lot is about to change. But one feature in particular could completely turn the game upside down.

As part of the Rebirth Reinforced update, the map is getting the weapon trading system, which uses guns to purchase items. Here’s how the system works and the rewards you can reap.

The weapon trading system will allow players to trade weapons for money.

Warzone’s weapon trading system in detail

Revealed in a blog post Starting March 21, the Weapon Exchange system will be the new way to pay for items in Rebirth.

Instead of using their money, players will be able to convert weapons into a new form of currency, which can then be used to purchase items. The higher the rank of the weapon, the more valuable it is. Thus, legendary weapons will be much more valuable than a regular weapon.

With your converted winnings, you can get “money, gear, armor bags, self-revive kits, killstreaks…or even a specialist token”.

Warzone players will be able to take loot from corpses and convert it into items.

However, to unlock this system, players must complete the community challenge. It’s all about getting the whole lobby to get kills. Once done, people who participated will be able to use this system.

This new system could be used to reward players for getting kills. After eliminating a team, instead of wasting their weapons, you can loot them and drop them in the machine to buy some game-changing items.

This feature will currently only be available on Rebirth Reinforced. But the classic BR will definitely get this feature at a later date.
