All Arrested – Police Officers Injured: Three Cases in One Day

Three cases in one day in which police officers were injured during an official act. Among other things, a man in Vienna-Währing went yelling at moving cars with a wooden walking stick in his hand and injured a policewoman during the arrest.

The man, who was obviously mentally ill according to the police, was arrested and then taken to a hospital. Fortunately, the policewoman was only slightly injured. Open speeding tickets The second case was in Vienna-Leopoldstadt. A 43-year-old man attacked two police officers after they had paid him a visit at his home address because of open traffic tickets in the amount of around 1,000 euros. During the conversation, he said to the officers that he could not pay the fine. However, the officials were able to find around 2000 euros in cash during a search. The 43-year-old then became aggressive towards the officials – arrest followed. Both officers were slightly injured. Caught in the act In addition, a 33-year-old is said to have damaged more than a dozen vehicles in Vienna-Meidling by breaking off side mirrors or overturning two-wheeled vehicles. Shortly afterwards, when he was stopped by a police patrol on Steinbauergasse, he attacked the officers and injured them. The 33-year-old was also arrested. A policeman was injured so badly that he could not continue his duty.
