All colors were not idle in the lockdown: sports and cooking were on his agenda. The 35-year-old is even aiming for a career in cooking.

DJ and music producer Alle Farben (35, "Fading") wants to spread a good atmosphere in the Corona lockdown: For the 25th anniversary of the hit "Lemon Tree", he teamed up with Fools Garden to create a remake of the popular song. A lot of new music was created during the corona pandemic, as Alle Farben told in an interview with spot on news. However, the 35-year-old also kept himself fit and was busy in the kitchen: In 2021, Frans Zimmer, as Alle Farben's real name is called, wants to expand his cooking career. In an interview, the DJ reveals which celebrity chef he has already received tips from and whether he will soon be a guest on one or the other cooking show.

The song "Lemon Tree" is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. What does the song mean to you?

All colors: I have a lot of great memories of the song "Lemon Tree". It went to many flat share and student parties that I was at back then and I was constantly dancing, laughing and singing along to the number.

How was working with Fools Garden on the remake of the song?

All colors: We worked completely remotely due to the Corona circumstances. Sometimes it was a bit complicated, a challenge and a lot more time-consuming, but in the end the band and I are very happy with the end result.

What do the band think of your remake?

All colors: The guys celebrate the remake just like me – we worked on it together.

Can your fans look forward to a new album again soon?

All colors: A lot of new music was created during the lockdown period, but I can't say when I will make an album out of it. But I've already planned quite a few singles and I'm done, I can reveal that much.

When do you think concerts with a larger audience can take place again?

All colors: I am a total optimist and hope by the end of summer 2021.

How do you pass the time without concerts and festivals at the moment?

All colors: I do a lot of music, a lot of writing sessions and sports. However, I also work a lot in the kitchen and have professionalized my cooking skills. You can find my creations and recipes on @allefarben_kitchen on Instagram and Youtube. In March you can – hopefully – attend a dinner event of mine for the first time in the "Blauer Esel" in Rostock. I'll take over the kitchen there for a few days.

How do you keep fit during the Corona period?

All colors: I do four times a week on Zoom Sport with my team to start the day and some other online sports activities. Every Monday at 7 p.m. fans can do an hour of sport with me and an RPT1 trainer, also via Zoom.

Can you also get something good out of the Corona period?

All colors: In the beginning it was nice to travel less and to deal more with yourself, with music, sports and cooking.

They love to cook. Which of your creations can you particularly recommend?

All colors: Probably my simplest creation is the "burnt pointed cabbage" with brown butter. The recipe is simple and especially tasty now in winter.

Did you improve your skills in the kitchen during the lockdown?

All colors: Yes, very much! I was lucky enough to learn from many chefs online and to do a cooking session with Tohru Nakamura via video call.

Could you imagine taking part in a TV cooking show?

All colors: Definitely, we're even working on it right now and hope that I'll be on one or the other show this year.

What are your wishes, goals, plans for 2021?

All colors: Keeping my positive attitude, making music and expanding my cooking career. There is a lot of good music and a lot of good food to come!
