This weekend was the San Diego Comic Con, the opportunity for Disney to unveil the calendar of its next projects around the SVOD service Disney +.
After the Infinity Saga, Marvel has formalized its new story arc for the years to come: the Multiverse Saga. This time, it is both the MCU that we find in the cinema, but also films and series to be found directly on Disney + to present us with ever more superheroes. They can then meet in crossovers Avengers The Kang Dynasty and avengers secret wars which will close the whole thing in 2025 in dark rooms.
The MCU TV Series Schedule

With a saga spanning Phase 4, 5, and 6 through 2025, we can see that Disney hasn’t really planned out all the possible releases on Disney+ yet. If we find the MCU every few months in the cinema, the Disney + calendar clears up from the winter of 2023, a sign that we should have the right to new seasons or new series in 2024 and 2025.
This period is above all an opportunity to see Daredevil resume service under the official banner of Marvel and Disney, after a few seasons at Netflix which had resulted in a small amicable divorce between Netflix and Disney. Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox will once again share the stage.
Unfortunately, for most of these series, we don’t have any images yet to sink our teeth into. We only know that Echo should follow the series Hawkeye where we will find the character of Maya Lopez. Agatha Coven of Chaos will play the role following Wanda vision and will focus on the witch Agatha. Finally Secret Invasion should address issues left unresolved by Captain Marvel and Wanda vision by putting on screen Nick Fury and Talos who will have to thwart a Skrull invasion.
On the cartoon side, if What If? will continue to make an obvious connection to the MCU to continue exploring the multiverse, the connection is a little less obvious to Spiderman and X-Men 97. The latter picks up exactly where the Fox Kids cartoon left off in the 90s. We will therefore once again be able to discover the adventures of Jubilee, Cyclops or even Serval in their beautiful costumes with very flashy colors.
See you from September 9 to 11, 2022 to discover the rest of the program at Disney D23 Expo 2022. This will be an opportunity for the firm to also extend the Disney+ calendar to the other universes of the firm: Disney, Pixar , National Geographic and Star Wars.
