All on stage 2: from U2 to Billie Eilish, discover the songs featured in the film

In the cinema since December 22, Tous en scene 2 tells a pretty story, sublimated by songs of all styles interpreted brilliantly by the actors who lend their voices to the heroes of the film. Discover all the songs from the soundtrack below!

There are more than 40 tracks, some of them very popular, that you will be able to hear on your way to the cinema to discover the sequel to the success Tous en scène, whose soundtrack was already very generous.

The music producer Harvey Mason Jr., currently at the head of the organization of the Grammy Awards, is also back on this second episode, where he personally assisted each talent on the recordings of their songs. Because, as in the first film, it is the actors who double the characters (Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon…) who pushed the song.

In this regard, director Garth Jennings assures: “They were all amazing and I felt like I was working with superheroes. These recording sessions were a real pleasure, I was able to admire the work of Harvey Mason and the magic of musical creation.

Among the titles sung by the cast of the feature film, we find Let’s go crazy from Prince, There’s Nothing Holdin ‘Me Back by Shawn Mendes, A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay, I Say a Little Prayer by Dionne Warwick, Break Free by Ariana Grande or even Girl on Fire Alicia Keys.

U2 in force

A big place is also given to the group U2, with the presence of Bono in the skin of the newcomer Clay Calloway. The latter sings in a duet with Scarlett Johansson a moving cover of I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. The Marvel star also performs an acoustic version of Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of, which was recorded in one take, without any additional arrangement or auto-tune.

We can also hear Where The Streets Have No Name, sung by the main cast, as well as a brand new track from U2, written for the occasion: Your Song Saved My Life, which accompanies the end credits of Tous en scene 2.

Of course, pieces by other artists are also present in the film like Bad guy by Billie Eilish, who illustrates a very funny undercover scene. Drake (Hotline Bling), The Weeknd (Can’t Feel My Face) Taylor Swift (Look What You Made Me Do), BTS (Not Today), Cardi B (I Like It), Justin Bieber (Boyfriend), Elton John (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road), Camila Cabello (Senorita) or Whitney Houston (Higher Love) are all stars whose songs will also resonate in theaters showing the feature film!
