TOP Esports is the team in form for this Summer Split 2022 in LPL. The Chinese League of Legends championship has started its second part with the final stages, and it is therefore time for observers to elect the best teams and players of this summer segment, as on the LCK side.
TES and RNG dominate the season
The three All-Pro Teams of the season are now known. In the first, we find the JDG toplaner, 369alongside members of TOP Esports Tian and jackey loveas well as those of RNG, Xiaohu and Ming. JDG has placed two other players in the second team (Kanavi and missing) while TOP Esports is still present in the other two standard teams with its players Knight and Marksymbol of a excellent split which ended with a first place (14/2), tied with JDG but ahead thanks to the winrate on the games.
Another consecration for TOP Esports: jungler Tian, already a member of the typical team, obtains the trophy of the MVP of the season. Gao Tian-Liang, 22, was bought last December after 4 years at FPX and huge potential that only grew. Already 2019 Worlds MVP, he had joined TES to find a new lease of life after a complicated 2021. On the side of the Rookie of the season, it is the topplaner of OMG, Shankiwho was elected.
The playoffs started for this Summer Split in LPL with a first meeting between OMG and FPX which ended with the qualification of FunPlus for the rest. RNG will enter the fray in the 3rd round, then TES and JDG in the 4th, on August 22.
