The farmers are back. This Monday, August 22, Love is in the meadow come back strong for an unprecedented 17th season unveiled on M6. A few days before the broadcast, the channel has already revealed the new features that will thrill fans of the rural dating show. First of all, viewers will discover brand new professions. “This year, a beer brewer, an equine inseminator, an equi-tourism professional in a horse-drawn carriage and a castanéiculturist” will therefore join the cast, revealed TV Magazine. But that’s not all ! For the first time in the show’s history, a father and his daughter decided to embark together in search of love with a capital A. The opportunity to meet Emmanuelle, 42, and Jean-Paul, 70, every two bachelors and associated winegrowers within the same farm in the Grand-Est.
However, even if the various announcements confirmed by M6 are already mouth watering, it is nothing compared to the twists announced. In effect, TV Magazine announced new “love at first sight” or even “eternal oaths”but also “totally silent speed dating” and “Fallouts on the Farm”. Generally speaking, it is a particularly “hectic” which is coming. And again, viewers will still not be at the end of their surprises. The reason ? The results of the season have not yet been filmed. Here again, “production expects further turnarounds for the filming of the balance sheet scheduled for the end of September”.
Franck (“Love is in the meadow”) was hospitalized
On July 31, fans of the show Love is in the meadow learned with astonishment that Franck, essential candidate of the 16th season, was the victim of a terrible accident. “I walk into the building and feel sharp pain in the front of my foot. I withdraw this one, violently, and see a stream of blood flowing from it, very abundantly”, he announced in an Instagram post, before continuing: “I stuck my foot in a stiff fence panel, designed to make an aviary for pigeons. It’s gone 10 cm and a vein is cut… I leave the room while the two pioneers run towards the first aid kit, and a sweet drink and sugars. Fortunately, the two scouts present at the time of the incident were very responsive and were able to manage the situation very calmly.
