(CercleFinance.com) – Allianz Real Estate, acting on behalf of several Allianz Group companies, has completed the purchase of a premier logistics center, MultiBusinessHub Mittelrhein, in Polch, Germany.
Located between the Cologne and Bonn metropolitan areas to the north and the Rhein and Main regions to the south, this state-of-the-art facility comprises six warehouses, each with a net lettable area of 10,000 m2.
With expected completion in 2024, the asset is fully pre-let with long-term contracts to V+B Fliesen GmbH and Elsen Logistik GmbH, a logistics provider.
The facility, which will use rooftop solar panels to achieve its DGNB Gold certification target, enables Allianz Real Estate to help reduce its portfolio’s carbon emissions by 25% by 2025 and become carbon neutral by 2050.
