Allnet flat rate with 70 GB for 20 euros: No term, connection price, ifs and buts

Freenet is currently offering a SIM-only deal for a limited time that has a lot to offer. Everything you could want from a modern mobile phone tariff:

• An impressive data volume of 70 GB
• LTE maximum speed of 225 Mbps

At the same time, the deal forgoes everything you don’t want:

• There is no term
• The connection fee will be refunded

However, you should be a heavy user if you want to take full advantage of the scope of the tariff offer. The 70 GB offered is enough to stream YouTube videos in medium quality for 5 hours a day or 150 hours a month.

On the other hand, you get significantly less service elsewhere for 20 euros, you don’t have to make a long-term commitment to freenet and you don’t even have to pay a connection price. You surf with an unthrottled LTE maximum speed of 225 MBit/s.

“No ifs and buts” and the lack of a minimum term also means that the price remains permanently at 19.99 and does not rise to the list price of 42.99 euros after 24 months.

The strike price is stated by freenet as 42.99 euros; In fact, you should use the core benchmark Mega SIM as a guide, where you can currently get 50 GB of data volume for 20 euros; no offer from Drillisch can keep up with that. Although there are connection costs, these will be reimbursed in full by freenet upon request via SMS. The contract can also be canceled on a monthly basis.

There is only one restriction: the 5G network is taboo, calls and surfing take place in the LTE network, but here at an unthrottled speed of 225 Mbit/s.

In order for you to receive a refund of the connection fee, you must send an SMS with the text in good time, i.e. within 30 days of activating the SIM card AP free to the number 8362. SMS are actually included in the price, but because this is a special number, this SMS will cost you a one-off fee of 19 cents.

The offer in comparison

This tariff also cuts a good figure compared to the e-network benchmark from the company’s own series: at the same price and with similar conditions, freenet offers a whopping 20 GB more data volume than Mega SIM.

Of course, this deal takes place on Telefonica/O2’s E-network, which remains a separate price range compared to the D-networks. In the vast majority of regions and especially in metropolitan areas and large cities, you will not notice any fundamental differences in quality.
