Alone in the Dark: after the failure, more bad news for Pieces Interactive

Bringing Alone in the Dark up to date, survival horror 90s cult, seemed like a good ideaeven if the franchise has had years of wandering, between bad games and stays in oblivion. Interactive Pieces And THQ Nordic undoubtedly had big ambitions with the remake, starring David Harbor and Jody Comer.

Launched last March, Alone in the Dark received some pretty harsh ratings, but a few testers still enjoyed the experience. The editor THQ Nordic did not, however, mention the sales, they are undoubtedly far from good and the developer Pieces Interactive is already making serious decisions. Helena Hansen was a quality assurance analyst on Alone in the Darkbut she announces having been fired from the studioadding: “My heart breaks for me and my colleagues right now”.

Last month, Helena Hansen was delighted to appear in the credits of her first game, but the adventure at Pieces Interactive was short-lived. However, it remains to be seen how many people were fired from the studio, the developer has not yet communicated on this decision. If you still want to give a chance to Alone in the Darkit is available from €36.20 on Amazon, Cdiscount, Fnac And Gamesplanet.
