The first major cinema event of the year, the 2024 Alpe d’Huez Festival has just revealed its president of the jury!
The 27th International Comedy Film Festival of Alpe d’Huez, in Isère, will be held from Monday January 15 to Sunday January 21, 2024.
After Alexandra Lamy (2019), José Garcia (2020), Michèle Laroque (2022) and Karin Viard (2023), it is the actress Valérie Bonneton who will chair the Jury of the next Alpe d’Huez Festival!
“A quality comedy, intelligent, daring, social, crazy, intimate, is vital for our health but also for that of French cinema. For 27 years, the Alpe d’Huez festival has been honoring this complex art for the morale of all of us.
I am happy, proud and honored to be the President of the Alpe d’Huez International Comedy Film Festival for this year 2024, because if there is a way to laugh, I will take it!”declared the 53-year-old actress, star of the series Don’t do this, don’t do that.

“In 2014, she was a member of the Jury of the 17th Alpe d’Huez Festival chaired by Dany Boon. Always accompanied by Dany Boonshe comes to present La Ch’tite Famille, the opening film of FAH2018 and a box office hit which brought together almost six million spectators that year. Five years later, for the 26th edition, she returns to present the film Good heavendirected by Laurent Tirard.”
