Alpes-Maritimes: fire in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, eight hectares ravaged by flames


The fire is contained, but the firefighters remain at work. Houses were evacuated and an equestrian center is being protected.

During the night from Friday to Saturday, a fire broke out in the Rocagel district of the town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (Alpes-Maritimes). During the night, up to 150 firefighters were mobilized to put out the flames, and another fifty of them were still on site Saturday morning.
