Alpha MOS signs a licensing agreement with Agrigate, a major exporter of Australian agri-foodstuffs
Alpha MOS (FR0013421286 ALNEO), world leader in odor and taste analyzers and industrial visual analyzers, announces the signature of a license agreement with the agrifood trading company Agrigate, with a view to equipping sensory sensors its containers dedicated to the transport of milk.
Agrigate is developing a fleet of several thousand containers dedicated to the transport of milk of Australian origin to Asian countries. These containers, specifically designed to store milk in good conditions, can spend up to 1 month at sea before reaching their destination. In order to guarantee its end customers optimal storage conditions, Agrigate needs to measure the quality of the milk in real time throughout the transport phase.
It is in this context that Alpha MOS entered into discussions with Agrigate to design a system of suitable sensors capable of detecting volatile gases and analyzing them in real time. After an initial series of conclusive tests in France, the two companies have just signed a license agreement aimed at developing and testing, in Australia and on a large scale, a sensory module by the end of 2023.
If these tests are conclusive, and subject to the agreement of the regulatory authorities, this agreement represents a potential market, as original equipment, of around 15 million euros, supplemented by renewal markets planned after two to three years.
