Alphabet: two AI tools tested on YouTube (Google)

(CercleFinance.com) – YouTube, the video hosting site owned by Google (Alphabet), announced on Tuesday that it would begin testing two new features using generative artificial intelligence (AI).

These tools, which are in addition to those recently implemented to facilitate content creation, will first be experienced by paying subscribers, the platform announced in a post on its corporate blog.

YouTube plans in particular to help Internet users organize large comment sections into easy-to-identify themes, with the idea of allowing content creators to participate in discussions more easily.

At the same time, the sharing site wants to offer a conversational AI tool which will, for example, suggest recommendations for related content, without interrupting the playback of the video in question.
