Taking advantage of the end of the fiscal year, Capcom has finally communicated the first figures concerning sales of Dragon’s Dogma 2. And we can undoubtedly speak of a very good launch since in just 10 days, the action-RPG has already sold nearly 2.5 million copies.
A real success compared to the scores that the first opus had posted. Released in 2012, Dragon’s Dogma the first of the name had in fact needed a good month to reach its first million sales.
The franchise thus exceeds 10 million games sold, all platforms combined. And this, even if Dragon’s Dogma 2 seems to have won over a lot of PC gamers. This news was not obvious when we see the many bad reviews on Steam. Indeed, optimization problems and especially the arrival of microtransactions are far from being unanimous among players. Controversies which, however, did not prevent the title from finding its audience.
