“More attention needed”
Michael Binder, the medical director of the Vienna Health Association, emphasized that it is important that “in Vienna the monitoring examinations are continued,” he said with regard to the wastewater analyses. “Even according to the WHO definition, the pandemic is not over yet, a lot of attention is still necessary, but we are at least seeing a significant improvement in the development of the disease,” emphasized Binder. He hopes “that this will continue to develop in the future”.
