(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom has won a contract worth 177 million euros from the Catalan operator FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) for the supply of 10 new Coradia Stream regional trains, as well as the associated maintenance for a 15 year period.
FGC will use these trains for the new railway line that will connect downtown Barcelona to El Prat airport.
“These trains will include the most advanced signaling solutions, as well as security and passenger information systems to guarantee the highest levels of safety and comfort on board,” the group states.
