Alstom: a contract worth 323 million euros with the Italian Polo Logistica FS – 06/19/2024 at 6:09 p.m.


(AOF) – Alstom announces the signing of a 323 million euro contract with the Italian Polo Logistica FS for the supply of 70 Traxx Universal locomotives. The contract includes 12 years of full maintenance and an option for 30 additional locomotives, with the first deliveries expected to begin in 2025. The locomotives will be manufactured in Italy at Alstom’s Vado Ligure site, with maintenance services provided throughout the country.

“Polo Logistica, a long-time customer and one of the Italian pioneers in investing in high-power electric locomotives,” said Michele Viale, Managing Director of Alstom in Italy.
