(AOF) – Alstom and global hydrogen supplier Air Products have signed an agreement to develop direct emission-free transport solutions in Poland. Under this agreement, Air Products will distribute and store hydrogen and provide hydrogen fueling infrastructure within its own supply chain. Alstom will supply trains powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The agreement will raise awareness among transport operators and suppliers in Poland of environmental issues.
The joint effort on Polish soil is a continuation of Air Products’ partnership with Alstom concluded in 2022 with the signing of a letter of intent to decarbonize rail transport in the Czech Republic through the use of hydrogen low carbon.
