Alstom: distinguished by the Hydrogen Mobility prize

(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom announces that it won the Hydrogen Mobility award on April 24, at the 2024 Canadian Hydrogen Convention Awards gala held in Edmonton, Alberta.

This award was awarded in recognition of the impact of this innovation project for the development of green mobility and zero-emission propulsion solutions in Canada.

“We are proud to receive this award in recognition of the commissioning of the first hydrogen train in America,” said Michael Keroullé, President of Alstom Americas.

‘This is a testament to the innovation happening across Canada in green energy, as well as the expertise of suppliers and Alstom staff who work every day to bring low-carbon transportation options to people from Canada and around the world. ‘

As a reminder, Alstom’s Coradia iLint is the first hydrogen train in commercial service in America. It has already transported more than 10,000 passengers as part of a demonstration project in Quebec which took place from mid-June to the end of September 2023.
