Alstom: excessive fears?

Results. Alstom is heavily penalized with a title down by a third since January 1, 2022. In the wake of the soaring price of fossil fuels, one could however think that our fellow citizens will abandon the car for rail transport… But the managers retain other elements on the file. They first point to the 20% stake in the capital of Russian TMH, an asset valued at nearly 500 ME in Alstom’s balance sheet. Moreover, the signing of a large contract with the Ukrainian railways is no longer on the cards. The Belfort site risks paying the price because it is under-capacity… Alstom must also deal with supply disruptions and the violent increase in prices for many product families.
