Alstom has completed the sale of its Reichshoffen site to the Spanish CAF

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Railway equipment manufacturer Alstom announced on Monday that it has completed the sale of its Coradia Polyvalent platform, its production site in Reichshoffen in France and its TALENT3 platform, currently developed in Hennigsdorf in Germany, in Spanish group CAF. “This step puts an end to the disposals required by the European Commission to authorize Alstom to acquire Bombardier Transport”, specified the French group. “In order to ensure a smooth transition”, Alstom indicated that it would “continue[ait] to honor its obligations related to existing orders for TALENT3 and to work[ait] in consortium with CAF to respect existing contracts which provide for the delivery of rolling stock from the Reichshoffen site”.
