(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom and Saudi Railway Company (SAR) have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop hydrogen train solutions adapted to Saudi Arabia.
The objective is to explore opportunities for the future of sustainable mobility in Saudi Arabia and actively work to develop and implement solutions related to rail infrastructure and capacity in line with the Vision 2030.
‘This partnership is an opportunity for Alstom to strengthen its collaboration with Saudi Arabia Railways and work together to meet the mobility needs of the Kingdom as part of the implementation of Vision 2030. The focus on mobility solutions sustainable mobility, including hydrogen technology, will be a key factor in the diversification and economic growth of the Kingdom’, said Mama Sougoufara, Managing Director of Alstom for the MENAT region (Middle East, North Africa and Turkey).
