(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom announces the entry into commercial service of two new extensions of line 2 of the Rabat tramway (Morocco), thus strengthening the urban network of the capital of the kingdom.
As part of the construction of the 7 km extension for each of the line 2 extensions, Alstom supplied 22 Citadis X02 trams.
The 22 new trains whose production of wiring and electrical cabinets was carried out on the Alstom site in Fez, will be added to the 44 trains in circulation since May 2011.
