(CercleFinance.com) – Alstom has just won a new order to supply DB Regio with 17 Coradia Stream EMU trains intended for the Main-Weser network in Germany.
The 13 four-car trainsets and the four five-car trainsets will be operated on the Main-Weser secondary network, which connects the cities of Frankfurt, Giessen, Marburg and Kassel.
‘We are very happy that DB Regio has chosen our Coradia Stream, a modern and high capacity train, for its line RE 30 which connects Frankfurt and Kassel to the east’ says Müslüm Yakisan, President of Alstom Germany, Austria and Switzerland .
