(CercleFinance.com) – Altamir and the funds managed by Amboise Partners announce in a press release that they have sold their investment in the company Alain Afflelou to holding companies held by Mr. Alain Afflelou for a total amount of 63 ME.
By excluding the transaction to buy back a secondary position in the FPCI Apax France VII (renamed Aho20), Altamir realizes a multiple of 1.8X on its original investment (2012).
“Altamir is now pursuing the investment strategy implemented since 2011, which consists of investing mainly through funds managed by Apax Partners SAS and Apax Partners LLP and in co-investment alongside these same funds” indicates the management.
