Alten: activity up 19.8% in the first half – 09/23/2022 at 09:34


(CercleFinance.com) – Alten presented its results for the first half. The company is experiencing sustained organic growth. At constant scope and exchange rates, business grew by 19.8% (14.5% in France and 22.8% outside France).

The operating result on activity reached 208.6 ME, up 52.1% compared to June 2021. The operating margin on activity reached 11.4% despite higher salaries.

Operating profit reached 186.9 ME (i.e. 10.2% of turnover). It includes 15.4 ME of payments in shares and 6.2 ME of non-recurring costs (including 5.6 ME of the earn-out period).

The financial result reached 0.4 ME. After taking into account a tax charge of 48.3 ME, the Group’s net profit amounts to 139.0 ME.

After taking into account flows on acquisitions (-116.0 ME), financial investments (+1.6 ME), and dividends (-44.1 ME), net cash amounts to +62.4 ME at the end of June.

ALTEN has a healthy investment capacity for new acquisitions (gearing: -4.1%).

Subject to similar conditions, Alten will achieve satisfactory organic growth and operating margin on ordinary activities in the second half of 2022.
