(CercleFinance.com) – Altheora announces this evening the signing of a contract estimated at 1.4 ME, with the French subsidiary of a global manufacturer of seats for TGV, TER and metro.
It is expected that ALTHEORA Composites will manufacture fixed and lift-up thermoset (SMC) seat cushions and seatbacks.
‘In total, it is the renewal and modernization of 8 lines of the Paris metro which will benefit from the expertise and know-how of the ALTHEORA Composites teams who are currently developing 3 molds for their design’, specifies the company.
This large-scale project will be deployed over several years and will begin in 2023, acknowledging the strong participation of Mobility and especially rail (21% in 2021) in the Group’s turnover, and its development prospects with a market with very high added value.
