ALTHEORA’s sales in the 1st quarter of 2022 amounted to €9.4m, driven by the historical activity (Mecelec Composites) up by +14% (€8.7m in Q1 2022), in line with its growth goals.
Despite a context marked by the Ukrainian crisis and the continuing effects of the health crisis, the Group is continuing to progress on its strategic axes, by intensifying its international presence thanks to the marketing of the exclusive Gendzo® Process patent, innovative industrial process for large parts for the Mobility sector.
The ALTHEORA Composites division contributed €9 million to sales, in particular thanks to the dynamism of the Distribution and Mobility sectors. The ALTHEORA Coating division remains solid at €0.4 million and will acquire a new production unit in the second half of 2022 to support the good commercial dynamic.
To date, with an order book of €11.6 million, up sharply by 27% compared to 2021, the Group is calmly and cautiously announcing a revenue target of
€34.5 million. ALTHEORA’s confirmed growth momentum gives it the means to cope with the uncertain economic and health environment in which it operates, and to pursue its development at a sustained pace, including by remaining attentive to opportunities for external growth.
