(Corrects a dispatch from October 1, read #3 that Altice’s secured debt is €20.2 billion, not €24.4 billion)
PARIS (Reuters) – A majority of holders of Altice France’s secured debt signed on Monday evening the extension of their cooperation agreement until February 2026, a spokesperson for the creditors told Reuters on Tuesday morning.
“90% of the secured debt agreed to sign the cooperation agreement extended until February 2026, which represents 93% of the debt which had agreed to be bound by the initial cooperation agreement which went until February 2026. February 2025,” said this spokesperson.
Altice France is currently negotiating the restructuring of its debt, which reaches 24.4 billion euros, including 20.2 billion of secured debt.

The end of a first cooperation agreement entered into by the creditors, scheduled for February 2025, threatened their ability to negotiate en bloc against the French branch of Altice, owner of the operator SFR.
