Altice: the fiber arrives in the agglomeration of Sarreguemines


(CercleFinance.com) – Today, XpFibre, a subsidiary of Altice, announced the launch of the commercialization of the fiber network deployed by XpFibre, a subsidiary of Altice France, in the Community of Agglomeration of Sarreguemines Confluences.

Eight months after the start of deployment work, 5,440 homes and business premises are now eligible for fiber optics.

Nearly 2,500 additional homes will be added from the end of December 2022 – during January 2023.

At the end of January 2023, almost 80% of the planned target will be achieved.

This large-scale operation, financed with XpFibre’s own funds, is part of the France Very High Speed ​​national plan.

Thanks to this Fiber network, individuals, businesses and communities can now access Very High Speed ​​Internet, telephone and television services in high quality under optimal operating conditions with speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s, i.e. 50 times faster. than ADSL networks.
