Alice Weidel has Corona
The chairman of the AfD parliamentary group, Alice Weidel, was infected with the corona virus. Weidel had “after she noticed flu-like symptoms, underwent a corona test,” said her spokesman Daniel Tapp. “She immediately went into quarantine at home,” he added. In the federal election campaign, Weidel complained about restrictions on fundamental rights to contain the pandemic, always emphasizing that she had not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19.
The AfD party leader and co-chair of the Bundestag faction, Tino Chrupalla, had to go into quarantine in October after a corona infection. According to its spokesman, Weidel last met with the parliamentary group on October 27th.
