They met and fell in love on the set of the cult series “Buffy” and now Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.
In love like the first day: On her 20th wedding anniversary, “How I Met Your Mother” star Alyson Hannigan (49) published a sweet declaration of love to her husband Alexis Denisof (57). The 49-year-old shared wedding picture and thanks her “best friend, the best father and the best cook” in loving lines. “I love sharing life with you!” the actress concludes her post.
“Buffy” was a hit
The actor couple met in 1999 on the set of the cult series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. The engagement followed just two years later and finally the wedding in 2003. Her daughters, Satyana Marie Denisof (14) and Keeva Jane Denisof (11) made their love happiness perfect.
Hannigan appeared as the witch Willow in all seven seasons of Buffy. Two years after the series ended, her next series hit was “How I Met Your Mother”. Alex Denisof, however, only played a guest role in “Buffy”. In the third season he played the guard Wesley Wyndam-Price and then moved to the spin-off “Angel – Hunters of Darkness”.
