(Boursier.com) — AMA Corporation PLC (AMA), publisher and integrator of secure productivity applications designed for connected mobile workers, is implementing its strategic action plan “to seize new opportunities in the assisted reality market and restart its growth.”

This plan builds on the company’s strong fundamentals and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI). It will be financed by the support of the main shareholder, Guillemot Brothers SAS, to the tune of 4 ME (non-dilutive). It will allow at least 2 ME savings per year by counting on a reduction in the workforce of around 30 people, around 1/3 of which concerns international and external service providers.

In France, the plan combines a PSE (Employment Protection Plan) and measures to reduce overheads. Internationally, it mainly relies on the closure of the subsidiary in China.

The conditions of the shareholder loan provide for a progressive repayment of 20% of AMA’s net profits when profitability is achieved.

“AMA has the ability to adapt to changes in its market by leveraging its innovative DNA to make XpertEye a customizable AI companion, which helps create, see and use contextual data. We have already propelled our solutions in the vast field of artificial intelligence and the expertise acquired, reinforced by the proximity to our large group clients and strong leadership, reinforces us in the success of this new stage. The support of Guillemot Brothers SAS and the commitment of the. AMA teams in this strategic plan give us the means to seize these new opportunities and relaunch growth, while directing the Group towards a trajectory of profitability, as we announced at the end of April 2024″, indicates Etienne Guillemot, CEO from AMA.
