AMA obtains B Corp certification

(Boursier.com) — The Rennes company, Ama Corporation PLC (AMA), recently achieved B Corp certification, recognition of its continued commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and business ethics. “This achievement reflects our deep commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices. It demonstrates our belief that businesses can and must be a force for positive change,” comments Christian Guillemot, CEO of AMA.

This certification is valid for 3 years.

Recall that B Corp certification is awarded by the non-profit organization B Lab to companies that meet strict standards in environmental performance, social responsibility, transparency and commitment to a positive impact on the global community .

The AMA group was evaluated on more than 200 questions, and following a rigorous certification process, obtained, for its first participation, a score of 80.3 for a minimum score of 80. These criteria relate to the themes of: governance, employee well-being, contribution to the community, environmental commitment and, creation of value for customers.
