Amalya Delepierre, better known by her first name only, qualified for the final of The Voice All Stars but above all carried an important message for the safeguard of the planet.

Amalya, Jenifer’s only talent qualified in the semi-finals, on Saturday October 16 won her ticket for the final live from The Voice All Stars. The 37-year-old singer, who appeared in the very first season of the classic version of The Voice on TF1 in 2012, convinced the public by interpreting Earth song by Michael Jackson, a song about climate, a cause that is particularly close to his heart. Amalya, who faced Dominique Magloire and Victoria Adamo, greatly moved her coach Jenifer, who had a tight throat and eyes cloudy with tears when congratulating her.

With Earth song, Amalya wanted to sound the alarm bells against climate change. The thirty-something is particularly committed to the protection of the environment. She also explained it just after her performance: “It was a message that was very close to my heart, in relation to our planet and the future of our children.”

Amalya warns about deforestation

Amalya has also joined forces with other artists, such as Barbara Pravi and Gaël Faure, and representatives of NGOs, such as Isabelle Susini (1% for the Planet France) and Magali Payen (On est Prêt), for an environmentalist platform. published this Sunday, October 17 in the Sunday Newspaper and warning against the dangers of deforestation.

“How did we come to this? 32 years after the release of this legendary song by Michael Jackson, nothing has changed”writes Amalya who, in addition to being a singer, is also an ambassador for the All4Trees community. “Every second the equivalent of a tropical rainforest soccer field disappears”, she is alarmed. Before adding: “We must join forces, bring the voice of indigenous peoples, activists and associations who act every day on the ground to stop this scourge.”
