Amanda Seyfried appeared in the aquamarine eye-catcher for the “Power of Women” event. She combined it with a classic leather wristwatch.
The Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried (36) attracted everyone’s attention at the “Power of Women” dinner of the industry magazine “Variety”. Seyfried, who has been starring in the Disney+ mini-series The Dropout since April, dazzled in a short-sleeved aquamarine turtleneck sweater. She also wore floor-length pleated pants with flared legs in the same color.
As an accessory, the 36-year-old used a classic, black watch with a leather strap. Her black platform sandals only occasionally peeked out from under the hem of the wide trouser leg. Seyfried wore her long, blond hair loose – casually styled with soft beach waves. A bronze eyeshadow accentuated her blue eyes. The actress’ pink lipstick completed the look in color.
Harnessing the power of women
In a speech, Seyfried paid tribute to the “International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance” (INARA) and its President and co-founder Arwa Damon (44), as “Variety” reports. The organization offers, among other things, medical and psychological help for refugee children. As an example, the actress cited that INARA had helped an injured refugee girl from Syria with operations and physiotherapy.
Against the background that abortion rights could be overturned in the USA, Seyfried explained that “the safety and protection of women […] far too often negotiable”. “There is no better moment not only to celebrate the power of women, but also to use it.”
