The “GSMArena” site has gotten its hands on renderings of the next Amazfit watches, the GTR 4 and GTS 4. Two watches with a particularly classy design.
The next few months are likely to be strongly marked by the release of particularly awaited connected watches. This is the case of the new Galaxy Watch 5 from Samsung, whose presentation should take place on August 10, but also of the Google Pixel Watch and the Apple Watch Series 8, expected at the start of the school year, not to mention the first watches equipped with Snapdragon W5 and W5+ chips, the Oppo Watch 3 and the new TicWatch.
The Chinese manufacturer Amazfit should not be outdone in this avalanche of new connected watches. We already knew that the firm was preparing to launch two new connected watches, we now know much more about their visual appearance, but also about their technical characteristics.
The website GSMArena has indeed got its hands on what appear to be official renders of the upcoming Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4 watches. to it a rectangular dial.
In both cases, however, we would find rather similar characteristics with an AMOLED screen and a button to navigate in the interface. The Amazfit GTR 4 would offer a second physical touch, flatter, always on the right side.
According to previous information shared by GSMArena, the Amazfit GTR 4 would therefore benefit from a round screen of 1.43 inches in diameter displaying 466 x 466 pixels, always-on compatible, with an aluminum alloy case. It would benefit from a 475 mAh battery offering up to 12 days of autonomy. For its part, the GTS 4 would benefit from a rectangular screen, still Amoled, with a diagonal of 1.75 inches and a definition of 390 x 450 pixels. The watch would also be only 9.9 mm thick for a weight, without the bracelet, of only 27 grams. The watch would be equipped with a 300 mAh battery to reach up to 7 days of autonomy.
Watches with GPS tracking
We should also find a speaker and a microphone on both models, to make calls, as well as a heart rate monitor to measure heart rate and oxygen saturation in the blood. Both watches should also feature GPS tracking to accurately gauge your workout distance. Except surprise, the two watches should ship the RTOS operating system, already used on the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, but also on the OnePlus Watch or the Xiaomi Watch S1.
We should know more about these two new connected watches during their official presentation. If no date has yet been given, the fact that the marketing elements are already ready seems to indicate that their official presentation should take place in the coming weeks.
