Amazfit is launching a new connected watch named after a dinosaur: the T-Rex 2! An evolution of the first T-Rex of the name which will be launched at 230 euros from June.
After the T-Rex and its Pro version, Amazfit is launching the T-Rex 2, third in the range, a connected watch that is intended to be robust to face all situations, even extreme ones.
Amazfit is full of features dedicated to sport and adventure
The brand wants to sell its new connected watch to the most adventurous among you, focusing in particular on the features dedicated to sport and navigation. The T-Rex 2 therefore incorporates a “ real-time navigation system and its route tracking which tells you the shortest route. Besides, there is a route import function to import predefined routes and follow them while looking at the watch. The GPS function is pushed through geolocationviafive satellites, enough to reduce interference, find a route faster and have a more precise location according to Amazfit.
Note also the presence of a barometric altimeter and an integrated compass. Regarding sports, Amazfit announces more than 150 sports modes and states that the T-Rex 2 can “withstand water pressure equivalent to a depth of 100 meters“. This connected watch is also intended to be resistant to operating temperatures: this model can be used down to -30°C.
24-day battery life to keep fishing
As usual, Amazfit takes care of the autonomy of its products. We find this desire in the T-Rex 2 since this connected watch can operate for a maximum of 24 days. A battery that will power a 1.39 inch AMOLED HD screen.
On the part of the health functions, Amazfit announces that we can measure four different health parameters in a single gesture: heart rate, oxygen saturation in the blood, stress level and respiratory rate. All in about 45 seconds.
Amazfit T-Rex 2 price and availability
This connected watch dedicated to sport will be available for pre-orders on June 1 at a price of 229.90 euros. Four colors are available: black and gold, black, green and beige khaki.
