Amazon Fire TV is now even more accessible with audio streaming for hearing aids. Various models from the following manufacturers can already be connected to the Fire TV Cube via Bluetooth.

- Fire TV now enables audio streaming through hearing aids.
- Devices from Starkey, Audibel, NuEar, Telefunken, Pro Acoustic and KIND are already compatible.
- For audio streaming, the devices need Bluetooth and you need the Fire TV Cube.
Audio streaming via Amazon Fire TV is now also possible with hearing aids. According to Amazon, however, only the provider’s most expensive streaming player, the Fire TV Cube, is currently an option.
However, there is already a larger selection of manufacturers and models of compatible Bluetooth hearing aids that can receive the sound from the Amazon Fire TV Cube directly. Fire TV audio streaming for hearing aids works with these models:

Amazon has already announced plans to add audio streaming from Fire TV to additional ASHA-compatible hearing aids later this year.
Pairing the Fire TV Cube with a hearing aid: Here’s how
Under Settings in the Fire TV menu you will find the item “Accessibility”. In the “Hearing aids” submenu, the latter should then be easy to connect via Bluetooth, like ordinary headphones.
In addition, Amazon recommends connecting via a 5Ghz home network, whereby audio streaming should also be possible via a 2.4Ghz WLAN. A maximum distance of three meters and an unobstructed line of sight to the device complete the ideal conditions for good sound reception via the hearing aid.
