John Smedley is a big name in video games, he co-founded Verant Interactivewhich subsequently gave rise to Sony Online Entertainment following the merger of several studios. But in 2015, Smedley left Daybreak Game Companybefore joining Amazon Games two years laterwhen the online distribution giant was still starting out in the world of video games.
