The e-commerce giant is increasing its efforts in the generative AI sector. During his event, he presented several new features designed to strengthen Bedrock, his service offering the main basic models of AI companies through an API. New AI chips and a business-focused chatbot called Q were also unveiled.
An image generator available from Bedrock
The new image generator, called Titan Image Generator, is already available in preview, Amazon announced. It generates “ realistic studio-quality images or enhance existing images using natural language prompts, for rapid ideation and iteration on large volumes of images and at low cost », promises the company.
The model is able to ensure that the composition of objects is accurate and distortions limited, allowing “ reduce the production of harmful content and mitigate the spread of false information “.
People who want to edit an image can isolate areas where they want to add or remove details, whether it’s replacing the background or changing an object. In a particularly promising demo, the company details how its model works. The user can interact with it as in a chat session, with the AI generating or modifying the visual with each request.
A watermark embedded in each image
The tool can also generate a description or text for distribution on social networks. Amazon says Titan Image Generator is particularly useful for people in the advertising, e-commerce, and media and entertainment industries.
Aware of the legal vagueness that still surrounds the use of generative AI, Amazon explained that the model adds an invisible watermark to the visuals it generates. Even touch-ups cannot make it disappear, assures the firm. She hopes, in this way, “ promote the safe, secure and transparent development of AI technology “.
The emergence of artificial intelligence as a mainstream tool has opened up numerous possibilities for all content producers. Text, image, sound… This new fashionable technology can now provide assistance in many areas, and facilitate work in the most difficult stages of creation. And with an ever-increasing offering, it is important to distinguish which tools provide real added value. So you don’t waste hours trying everything the Google results pages offer!
